The Miracle League is a non-profit organization that gives children with mental or physical challenges a chance to play baseball with teammates all in a real organized league. Organizers say while it's a lot of fun, it's more than a game.
"We have many of the buddies that have buddied the same player for four, five or six or seven years and you can watch the kids develop and this baseball game is small part of it," said Gary Rogaczweski, Exec. Dir. of Miracle League.
Organizers also say this was the first game on their brand new field.
