Despite the warm temperatures, people still got out for a local kite festival.
It was for the annual “Fly a Kite Fest” at the Arnie Wolf Sports Complex in Green Bay.
Kite flyers from five different states made it to the event. Organizers say it's a way for families to enjoy a Saturday, but more importantly, money raised goes to child abuse prevention programming.
We have a couple that we just met from Iowa last night, and they make it a priority to come out to this big day to help families and children,” said Nicole Vriant.
