Everyone is safe after a house fire in Howard.
Crews were called to the 1500 block of Cardinal Lane around 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, after a homeowner heard explosions in the garage.
Firefighters had some frozen hose lines and hydrant problems with the cold, but they had the fire under control in about 30 minutes.
A total of 5 departments were on scene.
The Brown County investigation unit is working to determine the cause.
