The Green Bay Metro Fire Department reports that one person was hospitalized for smoke inhalation after a house fire last night.

They were called to the 100 block of Cleveland Street shortly after 11:00 p.m.

When crews arrived on scene they could see fire coming from several windows on the first floor.  It took firefighters about ten minutes to knock down the main fire, which did not spread to the building's second floor.

One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but the injuries don't appear to be life threatening.  Two adults and four children were displaced by the fire.

Officials estimate the fire caused about $75,000 dollars in damage to the home. The cause of the fire has not been determined, and it is under investigation.
