During his tenure as Hortonville Chief of Police, Michael Sullivan initiated an investigation into alleged missing personnel files, according to a press release from Diane Wessel, Hortonville village administrator.
The Village of Black Creek Police Department has been conducting this investigation.
While the Village Board is unaware of any wrongdoing, Wessel said the trustees have requested that the pending investigation be transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation to allow for an independent review of the allegations, Wessel said.
