Dozens of veterans received help from Home Depot and Community Outreach Temporary Services (COTS) Wednesday.
More than 30 employees from Home Depot helped upgrade a 60-year-old building in Appleton that houses 28 veterans.
Volunteers installed gutters and helped with general landscaping.
The project is a part of Home Depot's annual Celebration of Service campaign to improve lives of veterans and their families.
