A historic home in Appleton got a new address Tuesday. The Queen Ann-style home built in 1901 was moved to preserve it's history. The 2,700 square foot home, owned by Lawrence University, was moved from the institutional area to the City Park Historic District.
The move took around 5 hours and was executed by DeVooght House and Building Movers, LLC of Brick New Jersey.
After a year of renovations, it will be come the home of Lawrence's new Provost and Dean of Faculty.
