Several communities in Northeast Wisconsin are experiencing localized street flooding following a weekend of heavy rain. Lt. Nick Craig of the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, reports several basements are flooded and some streets were blocked off this morning. "With the ground being saturated at this point and rain predicted for this Wednesday, we are urging residents to make sure their sup pumps are in working order and functioning properly."
In the Fox Valley, Menasha High School was forced to close due to water threatening the building's electrical source.
The National Weather Service in Green Bay says Duck Creek in Howard and the Oconto River north of Oconto are expected to move above flood stage Monday night into Thursday.
