Happy Heads Salon is new salon within Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology Heath and Wellnes Center specializing in services for people battling cancer. The Happy Heads Salon offers free consultations, hair cuts, and head shaving.
"Hair is a part of our identity and losing it can create a sense of fear and anxiety among patients," Betsy Rachubinski, a wig specialist and licensed cosmetologist said. "I believe it is important to provide individualized styles for patients to feel a sense of confidence. Being involved with an organization with deep roots in our community, where I can use my talents to help those in need, is very humbling."
