Gunshot fired at Milwaukee police squad car

A bullet went through the windshield of a Milwaukee police squad car Friday, though no officers were hit by the bullet.

WTMJ in Milwaukee reports that Milwaukee police were called to a report of gunshots near the corner of 37th Street and Burleigh at about 1:45 p.m. Friday.

According to police, the bullet went through the window and missed the officers inside, however, one officer sustained minor injuries from the broken glass.

Police are not sure if the officers were the intended target.
