Construction is underway at Grand Chute's Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve.
The environmental reserve will add an 18,000 square feet center. It will include larger meeting spaces, conference rooms, a gift shop and patios and decks.
A 250-seat banquet hall will be added as well.
Builders are hopeful construction will be completed by the end of 2017.
The cost of the project is estimated at $5,000,000. Nearly $1.1 million has been raised so far.
