About 600 students from 4K to 5th grades will attend the new school when it opens.
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Ground was broken today on the construction for a new Baird Elementary School in Green Bay.
It comes after the passing of an April 2017 referendum.
About 600 students from 4K to 5th grades will attend the new school.
Students will still attend class at the same place next year because the city was able to swap some parking spaces.
The new school is expected to be complete for the 2019/20 school year.
