Green Bay West H.S. students participate in 'Day of Kindness'

Posted

As part of the National Day of Action, students at Green Bay West High School participated in a Day of Kindness. They received kindness challenge bingo cards and had to perform different activities printed on them, things like holding the door for someone or telling a friend what they mean to them.

"It's just these little random acts of kindness that kind of make a good day and teaches an imporant lesson. It helps us to become some of our IB traits which is to be principled, and open minded, and kind of caring for everyone around us," said Language Arts Teacher Tracy Vandewalle.

Staff were also encouraged to wear orange to raise awareness about school safety and gun violence.
