People from Green Bay are sharing their thoughts from Thursday’s hearing involving Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh.

Cynthia Hota and Amy Starzer are two Green Bay residents who have conflicting feelings while watching Thursday’s hearing. They say they watched nearly the whole 9-hour hearing involving Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh.

Starzer says it was exhausting to watch the entire hearing and thinks sexual assault should not be politicized in the way it was Thursday.

"It was hard to watch the whole nine hours of it. I just don't think sexual assault should be politicized in that way,” says Starzer.

Hota says she thinks sexual assault is wrong but had a hard time believing Dr. Ford’s story and doesn’t want Judge Kavanaugh in trouble for something that remains unclear.

“I felt for him because I didn't want to see him destroyed by this event,” says Hota.

Both women say the confirmation process has been the most interesting one they've ever seen. They also think continuing the FBI investigation would not hurt.
