The Green Bay Redevelopment Authority is working to save federal funds which could be cut under President Trump's proposed budget.

Alderman Joe Moore is asking for a draft resolution which would oppose cuts to the Community Development Block Grant and home funds.

He's also asking for support of our congressional leaders.

"We spend a lot of money every year on repaving streets, and this money helps us get some of these alleys repaired. That's a big thing too," Alderman Moore explained. "They're crumbling all over in many parts of the city, and we can do so many a year by having this money come to the community."

The city receives about a million dollars a year from the federal programs.
