Green Bay Protection and Welfare Committee looks into gun policy for city building

Posted

The Green Bay Protection and Welfare Committee is looking into ordinances regarding concealed and open carry in city buildings.

Alderperson Barbara Dorff is requesting a study on the ten largest cities in Wisconsin.

Currently, Green Bay doesn’t have an ordinance prohibiting people from openly carrying a gun into Green Bay city buildings, such as the courthouse and city hall.

The committee plans to discuss the topic further at future meetings.
