A twelve-year-old boy, missing since Wednesday afternoon, has been found.
Danovin Johnston disappeared from the 1200 block of Colonial Avenue. His father Jacob Lappen says he searched the area for 45 minutes before calling 911.
Danovin tells NBC26 he was just roaming around the area until around 7 or 8 o’clock in the evening. He says he snuck into a nearby hotel and ended up falling asleep in what he called a computer room where he was listening to music.
His dad says he didn't leave any notes or anything, and he even left his cell phone at home, so he couldn't be tracked.
His father just grateful Danovin is home.
Danovin was found Thursday afternoon at the Southwest Library. NBC26 asked him why he ran away...he said he didn't’t want to tell.
