Green Bay Police find Mopsie, an American Akita, taken in burglary

UPDATE: According to Green Bay Police, Mopsie has been found.

On Friday, the Green Bay Police Department took a report for a daytime burglary on the northeast side of Green Bay.

During the burglary, a 6-month-old American Akita, named Mopsie, was taken. During the investigation, it was determined that Mopsie was released into the neighborhood. Mopsie is not considered a threat to the public, and is known to be friendly.

Police are looking for assistance from the public in locating Mopsie, in the event someone took her in. Those with information are encouraged to call police at 920-448-3208, or to report anonymously, contact Crimestoppers at 920-432-7867 (STOP) or text "GBTIP" to 274637.
