The Green Bay Police Department has arrested 28-year-old Mitchell A. Terry and a 20-year-old Katlyne M. Legare in connection with a Craigslist scam.

Police say victims of the Craigslist scam would reply to an ad for a rental unit and then meet in person to exchange cash for rent and a security deposit.

Some of the locations listed were on Western Avenue, Plymouth Lane and Baird Creek Lane.

Police say the suspects misrepresented themselves as the property managers.

None of the apartments were ever for rent.

During the investigation, it was determined there may be more victims of these crimes.

Police say the male used the names of Lenny Bender, Larry Bender and Dale Bender.

Those thought to be victims, are asked to contact Detective David Steffens at 920-448-3200 Ext 0253, or email at davest@greenbaywi.gov.

Police urge people to use caution when handing out cash to anyone representing themselves under similar circumstances.
