The Green Bay Police Department is asking the public to avoid the 1200 block of Redwood Drive due to the discovery of a large amount of hazardous chemicals inside a home.
Officers found the chemicals while investigating an altercation between a man and a woman, who was in distress, according to police. A man was taken into custody for questioning.
The Green Bay Fire Department Hazardous-Material team is being deployed, and the scene is expected to remain active for a few hours.
