At about 4:25 a.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old Green Bay man walking in the area of Fisk and Leo streets was approached by two men in a vehicle. The men threatened the victim with a handgun and demanded that the victim give them his winter jacket and other personal property. The men left the area after the robbery and the victim was not injured.
Nigh Shift Officers Kevin Bahl and Kris Thoreson responded to the scene and noted that the vehicle described was similar to one that they had contact with earlier in their shift. A description of the vehicle and its occupants was passed on to detectives, who subsequently followed up with the information. They were able to locate the vehicle and identify and interview two men who were then arrested for the robbery.
Justin D Brennan and Robert I Morales have been charged with armed robbery. Both are 19-year-old Green Bay residents.
The victim's jacket and personal property were returned back to him.
