Music for the Sake of Music has teachers from across the country teach private lessons to students. Majority of the students start from fifth grade.
Organizers say they've seen a lot of growth since the program started in 2011.
"Kids go into their lessons, sometimes their pretty shy. They've never touched an instrument before. They came out and they're so happy. We'll see kids transform from the beginning to the end," said Melissa Lund Ziegler.
