Green Bay man stabbed in hand during domestic

UPDATED March 17, 2016: The 25-year-old man was taken into custody on Wednesday evening without incident, according to Green Bay police.

At 2:36 p.m. Wednesday the Green Bay Police Department received a report that a person was stabbed at 915 S. Oakland Ave. in Green Bay. As officers arrived, they learned that a 26-year-old Green Bay man was stabbed in the hand by a 25-year-old Green Bay woman and had fled the scene. 

In the investigation officers learned the man and women were in a domestic disturbance. In the physical altercation between the two, the woman stabbed the man. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and the woman. This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. Some schools were placed on lockdown so officers could check the area for the man.
