A federal jury has convicted a Green Bay man of conspiracy to distribute heroin and fentanyl.

The drugs resulted in one death and two overdoses.

Prosecutors say 37-year-old David Shanks will face life in prison for selling drugs last September that led to those overdoses.

Witnesses testified during the trial that Shanks was responsible for distributing large amounts of heroin and methamphetamine in the greater Green Bay area.
