GREEN BAY, WI -- Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is making sure another family has a home for the holidays.

On Thursday night, they dedicated their 97th home to the Johnson family.

Spokespeople say work on the house started back in April, and the family had worked more than 550 hours on the house to get it ready.

Now, all the hard work has paid off.

"Everybody knows the importance of a home at the holidays. Everybody knows the feeling of love, and having family surrounding you," says executive director Cora Haltaufderheid. "This family tonight is a deserving family."

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity has a goal of dedicating 10 homes in 2017.
