The Green Bay City Finance Committee will meet Tuesday to discuss multiple items on the agenda.
One of the issues up for review is a billof services from the law firm of Halling & Cayo, S.C. The Milwaukee-based law firm has given a bill totaling $30,431.25.
Alderman Mark Steuer has asked the Finance Committee to offer a funding source to pay the bill. The bill of services covers work the law firm performed from January 3rd through February 21st.
The council hired the law firm because of a possible conflict of interest with City Attorney Vanessa Chavez, who was appointed by Mayor Jim Schmitt.
Schmitt holds his office after winning by one vote on February 20th.
Other items on the agenda include a request to purchase nine tactical vests for the Police S.W.A.T. team from Nelson Tactical totaling $13,409.
Also on the agenda a request from a Green Bay resident for the City of Green Bay to reimburse the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation Project Fund for the Colburn Pool project.
The Committee will meet March 28th at City Hall at 4:30 p.m.
