Fire crews responded to Western Avenue Saturday night for a kitchen fire. Crews say the small fire was likely caused by unattended cooking. The damage is estimated to $15,000 and was contained to the stove top and nearby cabinets. No one was injured in the fire. The Red Cross is assisting 5 people displaced from the fire.
