The Green Bay Ethics Board voted to approve a resolution against Alderman Chris Wery. The complaint was filed by his former election opponent Debbie Jacques. You'll recall in June the board determined Wery violated the code of ethics when he used his bank job to look at Jacques financial statements. According to a board member, the resolution says Wery failed to act in a manner allowing the public to have confidence in elected officials. The resolution now moves to the full City Council for consideration. Both Wery and Jacques have the right to contest any decision.
