Green Bay district graduation rate increases by 4.4 percent

GREEN BAY, Wis –  The graduation rate for the Green Bay Area Public School District for the Class of 2016 was 83.8 percent, an increase of 4.4 percent from the previous year. The district also had gains in the majority of subcategories as well.

“As a district we recognize graduation rates as a significant metric of how we are performing as a school district,” said Superintendent of Schools and Learning Michelle Langenfeld. “Increased graduation rates are a reflection of the staff successfully implementing high leverage strategies and interventions that ensure core competencies through universal instruction, increasing the engagement of students through personalized pathways, extending learning opportunities through community partnerships, and providing innovative programs such as the Dr. Rosa Minoka-Hill School and The Academy.”
