Three girls are safe after being rescued from the Bay of Green Bay Tuesday night.
The three were on rental paddle boards, without life jackets.
They left Communiversity Park and were going to paddle along the shore to Bay Beach.
The wind pushed them out and they were unable to get back to shore. They had a cell phone in a waterproof pouch and were able to call for help.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department dispatched a boat and found them about 4 miles out. They were safely brought back to shore, uninjured.
