It was a triumph of love this weekend. Melvin and Annette Albers celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 20.
Both are lifelong residents of Green Bay and avid Packers Fans.
Melvin fought in WWII.
They celebrated the day with family and friends.
"I've been bragging and bragging to everyone, my parents have been married 75 years, and they'll say well happy anniversary, and then they stop and say "75 YEARS!", said Christine Foisy, the couple’s daughter. “So I'm very proud, very proud of Mom and Dad."
All seven of their children were able to attend the celebration.
