Green Bay Common Council votes to keep benefits

The Green Bay Common Council voted Monday for council members to keep their current benefits plan for the time being.

It passed with an 8-4 vote.

The four opposed say they're not city employees, they're elected officials, and so there's no reason they should get those benefits.

They believe the money should go elsewhere.
