Bullfrogs to seek stadium approval

Owners of The Green Bay Bullfrogs say they will present a plan for a new stadium in Downtown Green Bay to city leaders this week

The team currenty plays its home games each summer at Joannes Stadium, located near Green Bay East High School, which holds about 2,000 fans. The new multi purpose stadium would hold 8,000 if approved. "The Bullfrogs would be a fraction of what is happening at the stadium," according to team owner Conner Calois. "Also, concerts, local high schools playing there and youth teams."

The city's redevelopment authority as given it's approval for the letter of intent. The next step is for the city council to give it's okay.
