They call it the Super Bowl of trivia contests.
The 52nd running of the Great Midwest Trivia Contest starts Friday night at Lawrence University. The tournament is 50 straight hours of trivia broadcast over campus radio, ending Sunday night.
For trivia headmaster Ridley Tankersley, it's year four of the trivia contest. He says, "It's weird to put it in perspective and to think that this is something I've done for four years here, but that people have been doing this for many times longer than I've been alive."
The trivia masters say they intend to make the questions as difficult as possible.
