The "Titletown District" clears a major hurdle today.
Governor Scott Walker, with area lawmakers, signed new legislation aimed at easing the accessibility of liquor licenses for businesses today at Lambeau Field.
The bill reduces requirements for the Green Bay Packers to acquire the licenses for new vendors apart of the development. Under the plan, neighboring communities could sell their unused licenses to new establishments.
Supporters say the bill was needed due to Ashwaubenon's full capacity of liquor licenses.
