Governor Scott Walker has announced that farmers in 52 Wisconsin counties can qualify for emergency loans from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, following the April blizzard.
Farmers in every Northeast Wisconsin county are eligible for these loans.
Farms who suffered severe physical losses from snow and high winds now have eight months to apply for the loans.
If you would like to apply for one, farmers should contact their local USDA Farm Service Agency office for more information on loan eligibility and the application process.
