The Brewers won 12 games in a row last Friday and that means George Webb Restaurants are serving up on a promise of free burgers!
On Thursday, October 18th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m, fans can claim their free burger at any of the 30 George Webb locations.
Matt Levknecht, the Director of Operations at the George Webb location in Peshtigo, says they'll be handing out vouchers to customers for a free burger that goes until October 31st, just in case fans don't have the time to wait in line.
The promotion dates back to the 1940's when George Webb himself said he would grill free hamburgers for fans if the team won 12 games in a row.
In 1987, the only other time the prediction has come true, George Webb served nearly 170,000 free hamburgers.
