A post on the Green Bay Police Department’s Facebook page is receiving a lot of positive attention.
According to the post, Thursday night, a woman living on Green Bay’s West Side reported her flag was stolen from the front of her home. She hung up the flag in honor of her husband, a WWII veteran who recreantly passed away.
Officer Rob Ecke heard the story and went out and purchased a new American flag to post on her house.
