The Manitowoc Police Department says they received a call Friday, March 3 about a gas station on the south side of town with a gas pump not working correctly.
Police say a gas pump technician was notified and discovered that a credit card skimmer was connected to the card reader on the inside of the gas pump.
The card skimmer was removed by the technician and turned over to police.
No suspect information was available at this time.
