A contractor struck a two-inch gas line near Main and Milwaukee streets in downtown Menasha at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to We Energies.
There were some businesses evacuated prior to gas being shut off to the leaking main line.
About 80 customers will be without gas until the line can be repaired, according to a We Energies spokesperson.
