The Village of Howard reports their fire crews responded to a fire early this morning on the 1700 block of Island Court in the Village of Howard. When crews got there they saw smoke and flames coming from the two stall detached garage. They were able to contain the fire to the garage, but they say it appears to be a total loss. No cause or official damage estimate is available at this time. Nobody was hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
