Gannett Publishing Services will be shutting down its entire production facility in Waupaca, WI.
Approximately 52 employees will be affected beginning December 6, 2016.
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Dislocated Worker Program will provide transition assistance to workers affected by permanent layoffs.
Types of services include:
- pre-layoff workshops on topics such as resume writing and interviewing, job search strategies, and budgeting
- provision of information about programs and resources through written materials and information sessions
- career and resource fairs
Employees affected by permanent layoffs may also access basic re-employment services at no charge through the state's Job Centers.
