Cancer survivors took part in a bell ringing ceremony Wednesday at Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology. Patients, family and members of the community took part in the event ahead of National Cancer Survivors Day, which falls on the first Sunday of June each year.
The bells signify a turning point in the lives of cancer patients and represent the meaningful moment when their chemotherapy treatment ends.
This will be the last bell ringing ceremony at FVHO as they transition to ThedaCare.
