The future of a Green Bay Police officer is now at stake.

The city's Police and Fire Commission held a special meeting Monday afternoon.

The President of the commission tells NBC26 that charges were filed, by Police Chief Andrew Smith, against Officer Paul Spoerl back in July. That is when the Police Department conducted an internal investigation of harassment on the night shift.

The President of the commission said both their and the officer's lawyers made their arguments Monday.

The commission plans to make a decision on the next step in the process, within the next seven to ten days.
