Funeral services have been announced for the Town of Oneida Fire Department firefighter who died of a heart attack while at a crash scene Monday night, according to a press release from the department.
Visitation for John C. Brocker's funeral will be held on Sunday, November 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour.
An additional visitation will be held on Monday, November 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour with the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m.
Uniformed public safety personnel are encouraged to attend to show support for Firefighter Brocker, his family and the Town of Oneida Fire Department.
Governor Walker has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff as a mark of respect for Firefighter Brocker on Monday, November 7.
