Members of the Green Bay community are raising money to help out the area's homeless population.
It's the annual Bowl-A-Thon at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley. It's hosted by the New Community Shelter.
Organizers say its mission is to provide shelter and supportive services to homeless people and meals for children and adults in need.
"What I like about this event is, I look around, and I see that the community truly does have their arms around the New Community Shelter in the way that they've supported this event," said Terri Refsguard, Exec. Dir. of New Community Shelter.
