Freedom robotics team, FreedomBots, competing at Vex Robotics World Championships

Posted

Two elementary school robotics teams from Freedom are vying to win it all at the Vex Robotics World Championships this week in Louisville, Kentucky.

The FreedomBots teams are two of three teams from Wisconsin elementary schools competing.

They are competing against teams from around the country and world, including some from China, New Zealand, Spain, and Canada.

The teams spoke with NBC26 via Skype Monday, saying the most challenging part is learning to work with teams who speak a different language.

"This is going to be fun, but hard at the same time," said Preston Vandenburg, a member of FreedomBots.

NBC26 would like to wish both teams good luck!
