Two cities in Northeast Wisconsin are on the list of safest cities in the state, according to the National Council for Home Safety and Security.
Freedom is listed as the second safest, and Hobart-Lawrence came in at fifth.
The study combines information from FBI crime reports and population data to compile the list.
The top five are as follows:
1. Oconomowoc
2. Freedom
3. Mukwonago
4. Muskego
5. Hobart-Lawrence.
