An armed robbery in Grand Chute Friday morning might have some worried, and police say the high number of armed robberies in the area recently is unusual.
With it happening more frequently, concerned citizens may be wondering what to do if they're ever in that situation. In Grand Chute this morning, the victim hid in the bathroom to get away from the armed suspect.
"What I would I say is that he or she did a good job of creating distance between the person that was threatening them and taking care of their personal safety," said Sgt. Bill Tedli with the Outagamie Sheriff's Department.

"From a law enforcement perspective, I think what we're asking people to do is make sure that you're following directions. We don't want anyone getting hurt over money or property. Follow the demands of what the person may be asking you to do."
