Fox Valley Police promote Bike Safety with 'Ticket' Rewards

Fox Valley Metro Police are ticketing children who are practicing bike safety. The department partnering with area businesses to offer rewards to kids wearing helmets and using bike lanes. Michael Lambie says the goal is to encourage kids to be safe, "Any positive interaction we can have with the community and with our children is really beneficial for us. Helping children understand we're safe to come to." Kids who get a ticket can turn it in for the sweet treat through the summer.
